CEO | OWNER
With more than two decades of experience in the construction industry, Jason Haws serves as the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Unified Construction Systems, overseeing its continued growth, strategic direction, and commitment to exceptional workmanship. Unified Home Solutions, a division of Unified Construction Systems, reflects Jason’s passion for delivering trusted, highquality home services to clients across the region.
Jason began his construction career in 2001 as the first employee of AmeriSeal & Restoration LLC. His dedication, strong work ethic, and leadership rapidly propelled him into the role of Director of Operations in 2008. In 2015, after years of proven performance and a clear vision for the future, Jason and Scott Wyler purchased the company. Jason became President and continues to guide the organization with a focus on operational excellence, integrity, and longterm client relationships.
A devoted promoter of the skilled trades, Jason champions the importance of handson craftsmanship and encourages the next generation of tradespeople. He is also deeply committed to community service, regularly investing his time to support friends, family, neighbors, and causes dedicated to veterans, a group he proudly advocates for. A lifelong Ohio resident, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin; their children, Ian, Ellie, and Emma; and the family’s pets Bentley, Charlie, & Iris.
His leadership philosophy is grounded in continuous improvement and shaped by a guiding principle:

COO | OWNER
Scott began his career with the Bricklayers/PCC Union in 1996. In 2003, he joined Ameriseal & Restoration, where he worked as a union journeyman until 2009. That year, he advanced into a Project Manager and Estimator role, marking a significant step forward in his career.
In 2015, Scott took the opportunity to purchase the company, expanding its operations to include Ameriseal & Restoration and Unified Insulation Systems—now known as Unified Home Solutions. Under his leadership, the company has continued to grow and evolve.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife of 23 years, Lori, and their family, including his stepchildren Jordan, Travis, and McKayla, and his children Hannah and Hunter. He is a proud grandfather of four and is looking forward to welcoming another grandchild in July. Scott also enjoys supporting his daughter as she competes in cross country and track and field at Marshall University, as well as spending time hunting and fishing.
CFO
Remo has over 25 years of financial and operational experience in a variety of industries as diverse as construction, medical supplies and devices, commercial printing, and staffing. As the CFO of Unified Construction, LTD., Remo oversees the finances for all portfolio companies and assists with strategic planning for all the companies. In his free time, Remo enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Penny Arbogast has been a valued member of the Unified Home Solutions team since 2003, serving as the Office Administrator. She can often be found working closely alongside CFO Remo, and together they make an exceptional team that keeps operations running smoothly.
Penny is known for always going above and beyond to support her coworkers. She is compassionate, dedicated, and consistently keeps the company’s and owners’ best interests at heart. Her commitment, reliability, and positive attitude make her an integral part of the Unified Home Solutions family.
Outside of work, Penny has been happily married to her husband, Tim, for 38 years. She is the proud mother of one child, grandmother to four grandchildren, and greatgrandmother to three greatgrandchildren. Penny enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, cherishing every moment together.
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES
Jeremiah Thomas has been a valued member of Unified Home Solutions for 17 years and brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. As Vice President of Sales, Jeremiah is known for his dedication to his customers and his deep understanding of energy-efficient home improvements.
Customers love working with Jeremiah for his honesty, professionalism, and genuine passion for helping homeowners save money on their energy bills. His commitment to delivering real value and long-term results sets him apart as a trusted industry leader.
Outside of work, Jeremiah enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandson. He loves boating, camping, woodworking, and tackling home improvement projects - interests that reflect both his family-oriented nature and his hands-on expertise.
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Erin Haws is the Director of Marketing at Unified Home Solutions and has been a proud part of the Unified family for four years. She loves making sure the community truly understands who Unified Home Solutions is and what the company stands for, while helping create a positive experience for every customer. Erin is especially passionate about supporting her teammates and contributing to a strong, connected team culture.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys camping and spending quality time with her husband, Jason of 22 years, their three children, and their two dogs. Whether she’s outdoors making memories with her family or supporting her team at Unified, Erin brings energy, dedication, and heart to everything she does.
SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
Rick Bertka brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the team, including 14 years with Unified Home Solutions. Throughout his career, Rick has built a strong reputation for truly listening to customers and making sure their needs are met with honesty and care. He takes great pride in working directly with homeowners and helping them feel confident every step of the way.
Rick has been married for 28 years and is a proud father of five children and grandfather to four grand children. Family plays a central role in his life and strongly influences the dedication and integrity he brings to his work.
Outside of the office, Rick enjoys bowling and fishing, and he is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He volunteers with Shriners Hospitals for Children, a cause he is passionate about and actively supports. His commitment to service - both professionally and personally - makes Rick a valued and trusted member of the Unified Home Solutions team.
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPPERATIONS
Scott Ferrell is the Vice President of Operations and a proud member of the Unified team for the past four years. He brings over 30 years of hands-on building experience, ranging from new home construction to full-scale remodeling projects. Scott’s deep industry knowledge and commitment to quality play a key role in Unified Home Solutions operational excellence.
Outside of work, Scott has been happily married to his wife, Cathy, for 26 years. He values family time and enjoys making memories with his children and grandchildren.
